Home Again & Busier Than Ever

Been away awhile. Spent much of the summer in Saratoga Springs, NY. I could write endlessly about Saratoga. The racetrack, galleries, and fine dining options would dominate the page. But those thoughts will have to wait for another day.

OnTuesday Oct. 16th I will be hosting a dinner at The Rabbit Room (60 N. Main St. Honeoye Falls). The dinner will be a five course presentation from Chef Andy Penner that will be paired with a sampling of eight scotches from Gordon and MacPhail. Six of the scotches will be of the single malt variety. Some of the food presented will have been cooked with scotch. Andy will talk about each course and a representative from G&M will introduce each scotch. If you are interested in attending call me (Joe) at Colonial Liquor (585-624-4790) for more information.

My next trip will be to Las Vegas in November, another city with terrific dining options. I look forward to the big nightly decision about where to eat. The best meal on my last trip there was at Bouchon, located in the Venetian Hotel.
